Trommel screen is a commonly used screening equipment. It has the characteristics of simple structure and simple operation. By changing the screen, materials with different particle sizes can be obtained within a certain range. It is suitable for the separation of different particles.
The basic working principle of the trommel screen is: when the particles rotate to a certain height with the screen cylinder, they are thrown down due to the action of gravity, and then filtered through the screen to screen out fine and coarse materials.
The trommel screen is a shaftless transmission in the middle, the power end is supported on the frame by bearings, and the other end is supported by supporting wheels. Its mechanism is mainly composed of transmission part, drum, frame, supporting wheel part, hopper, screening drum, dustproof device and power distribution cabinet, etc.
The screen is woven steel wire or punched steel, and the size of the screen can be configured according to the process requirements. The frame, drum frame, and outsole frame are welded for easy transportation and installation.
Safe operation steps:
1. Check before operation
Check whether the electrical equipment and instruments are in good condition.
Open the access door and check whether there are ores or other sundries in the drum screen. If there is ore, it must be cleaned before operation. Whether the screen is flexible or not, turn the roller by hand, if it is flexible, it can be adjusted by adjusting the bolt. Check for loose or broken bolts. Check that the bearing housing and transmission are well lubricated, that the oil level is moderate, and that the protective cover is intact. Check that the drive chain is properly tightened.
2. The trommel screen must be started without load
After starting up, observe whether the discharge is normal, and close the sealing isolation cover after normal. The operator should check the equipment once an hour to check the output particle size, whether there is leakage and dust. Check the temperature rise of the motor and transmission parts for abnormal noise. Check whether there is slag blockage at the inlet and outlet, and deal with it in time if there is any.
3. stop
Before each shutdown, it must be confirmed that all the materials in the drum have been screened before shutdown.
Check the trommel screen after shutdown, and deal with any abnormality immediately. Do a good job in equipment and environmental sanitation, fill in the operation records, and do a good job in shift work.
1. The trommel screen produced by our factory is finished after assembly and debugging. After receiving the equipment, the customer should carefully inspect the equipment with the supplier to find any problems that may arise during use.
2. Precautions for equipment installation and debugging:
(1) All mechanisms of the equipment shall not be equipped with other items, so as not to affect the strength and rigidity of the equipment.
(2) After installation, remove the installation tools, etc. There must be no residual foreign matter inside and outside the sieve cylinder.
(3) The fasteners of the trommel screen should be fixed firmly and reliably without looseness, and the installation and adjustment should be appropriate. After further confirmation, no-load test can be carried out.
3. No-load debugging:
(1) No excessive abnormal noise.
(2) Continuous operation for 2 hours, the temperature rise of the bearing shall not exceed 70°C.
(3) After the no-load test confirms that there is no abnormality, the load test can be carried out.
4. Load testing
(1) The drum screen should be started first, and it can be evenly loaded to full load after normal operation.
(2) The trommel screen should not have excessive or obvious impact sound.
(3) The trommel screen runs continuously for 8 hours, and the temperature rise of the bearing does not exceed 70 degrees Celsius.
(4) Stop feeding before stopping the machine, and stop the machine until the materials in the screen cylinder are completely discharged.
(5) Only those that meet the above conditions can be put into production and use.
(6) It is strictly forbidden to adjust the equipment during operation.
5. Lubrication and maintenance of trommel screen
1. Pay attention to lubricate all parts of the equipment in time to ensure the normal operation of the machine and prolong the service life of the equipment.
2. Before the machine leaves the factory, all parts that need to be lubricated should be filled with grease. The user determines the lubrication cycle according to the specific working conditions. The equipment body has two lubricating parts, which are respectively at the end of the bearing seat.
3. The lubrication of the equipment should be carried out after shutdown, and the motor and reducer should be carried out according to their instructions.
4. It is strictly forbidden to adjust the trommel screen during operation.
5. Equipment maintenance
(1) The trommel screen should be supervised by a special person
(2) The maintenance and repair of the equipment must be carried out after shutdown, and it is strictly forbidden to carry out maintenance and repair when the equipment is running.
(3) Equipment management and maintenance personnel should always check the operation of the equipment, such as whether the fasteners are reliable and whether the rotation is flexible. After work, the trommel screen must be cleaned of dirt that is clogging the mechanism.
6. Matters needing attention
1. Stop feeding before the trommel screen stops, and cut off the power supply after the material in the barrel is exhausted.
2. It is strictly forbidden to start the machine after feeding, otherwise the screen plate may be torn due to excessive twisting distance, which will affect the service life of the machine. If the machine stops due to abnormal conditions, the machine should be restarted after cleaning the material in the cylinder.
3. The feeding should be uniform when the machine is started. It is strictly forbidden to feed unevenly to affect the screening quality.
